St. Francis High School has been a prominent feature of the La Cañada Flintridge area of Southern California since 1946. The story of the original building on the campus, however, begins about 1920 and shares in a heritage created by Frank Putnam Flint, a former U.S. senator from California and the founder of Flintridge.
